I am a mother of two, and my youngest is almost two. I felt inclined to write a review because this diaper bag is one of my absolute favorites! I am a bit of a diaper bag hoarder and have purchased a ridiculous amount trying to find "the right one." I have my trusty Petunia Pickle Bottom Sashay Satchel and more Ju Ju Be's than I care to admit, but I always seem to come back to my Skip Hop bags. In my opinion the Dash is not for infants, but is perfect for toddlers. The fabric is sturdy, well-made, hides dirt, and the shoulder strap is very comfortable. It has many pockets and I feel like everything has its place. The outside has two front pockets, two side bottle pockets, and one back changing pad pocket. The inside has one large slip pocket on the front side, two slip pockets on the other side, a "hidden" zippered mommy pocket, and two smaller pockets on each side that house the stroller straps but can also fit bottles or slim sippies. Nixon Dash bag - a little small, a little beige
I have the Nixon Dash bag, and overall, I like it! There are tons of handy pockets, I like the flap-over closure (magnetic), I like the option for snapping the bag over stroller handles, the pockets are insulated and cushioned, and the fabric design is very modern and cool. HOWEVER, please note that the color is beige and black, not white and black. I suppose this is a good thing for stains and wear and tear... I was just surprised. Another gripe is the size. TOO SMALL, but just barely. I suppose it forces you to only take what you need, but I wish it were just a tad bigger - newborns require a lot of stuff! (Change of clothes, washcloths, burp rags, blankies, diapers, wipes, creams, pacis, bottles... and of course Mom stuff. Forget your purse, you'll put your chapstick, wallet and keys in this thing!) Also of note, the inner zipper broke after three months of light use. Not that big of deal, but somewhat disappointing. I wish it also had straps to put on as a backpack, but I guess...
Perfect bag for experienced or minimalist parent
This bag is well made and very hip. I always come back to skip hop because of the easy use stroller clips and love the durability and practicality of their bags.

This bag could be viewed by some as too small as other reviewers hacpve reported. However, I see the bag as a perfect size for everyday use. I'm a second time mom so I don't overpack anymore and find this bag fits all your necessities comfortably.

If you are looking to overpack or use this for more than a short overnight trip, this bag isn't for you. if you ant something practical and easy to carry without the bulk of a huge diaper bag filled with stuff you aren't going to use, this bag is for you.

I love this!
This bag is great! I got it for christmas and am very pleased. I don't feel it is "babyish" like alot of other bags. It is very stylish for me and my husband. The changing pad is great. It has so much room I don't think I could fill it up if I tried. It also has an anti-microbial lined pocket which is great for soiled clothes and dirty diapers. I haven't used my regular purse since I had my son. There's plenty of room for my cell, wallet, keys, make-up and two pockets for his bottles inside and pockets on the outside for water bottles. Stylish, but not practical for new baby
This bag would be great if the body of the bag expanded. As it is, once you fill up a few pockets, you aren't able to put anything else in the bag unless you crammed it all in, in which case 1) the flap won't close and 2) you'd have to dump the contents of the bag to get to anything. The side pockets for the bottles were nice, but the front flap pockets were basically useless unless you stored small, flat items into it. I think my iPhone fit into the slot, but not my keys. The back zippered pocket above the slot for the changing pad fit a couple of diapers. The main compartment of the bag has elasticized pockets lining the sides, but once you filled two of the pockets, your space was pretty much maxed out. We chose this bag because it was sleek and didn't scream "diaper bag", but found it unusable for a newborn baby and ended up having to find another bag that would work out better. This Diaper Bag is expensive but awesome!
My mom bought me an expensive Vera Bradley diaper bag which only had a few pockets and all my stuff was in a jumble all over the inside. Plus there was no space for my things, only my son's. As you soon find out, you can't carry a purse and a diaper bag, so you have to have one that does both. I ordered this one because it had the most pockets I could find in a diaper bag. It rocks and my stuff is still organized after 4 months. I take this everywhere with me. The inside has great spots for a backup bottle, my stuff is on the outside, and I even have a coupon pocket for the store. This also hangs nicely on the stroller and I have found a million uses for the two outside side mesh pockets, everything from my son's bottle to water to my sunglasses and keys. I know it is a lot of money for a bag, but you won't ever need another one because it is durable and I would carry it for an ordinary bag after I don't need diapers anymore.

Best diaper bag I have found!
I have tried many many diaper bags. It was hard for me to spend anymore money on them, especially one that is $80, but i thought i would give it a try. I have a 2 yr. old and an 8 month old so i have to carry 2 sets of diapers, 2 change of clothes, snacks, drinks, baby food, plus my things, wallet, phone, and many more things. Everything fits in it perfectly and i love that it is very organized! (I hate digging for diapers etc....) Another plus is that i don't find it very heavy. Yes its heavier with ALL the stuff i put in it, but for as big as it is its really not that bulky! The only thing i don't like about the bag is that when you set it down it leans to one side (the side with the 3 pockets)! I wish it would just stay upright! Other than that i love this bag, i love the space, the color, the organization, the diaper changing pad and it looks stylish!

Love this bag!
I just gave birth to twins and if there is one thing I HATE is when I need something from my diaper bag and I can't find it. This bag may be big, but it's got tons of pockets, hidden storage space, and room for absolutely anything that a busy mom would need. I also like that the front from pockets make it easy to store my keys, sunglasses, and cell phone. Regardless of whether or not you have one child or 12, this is a fabulous bag for moms on the go.
Great even for just one kid!
I bought this bag after giving up my breast pump, and after finding that carrying a diaper bag and a purse and a work tote was just too much. This can combine everything I need with everything I need for my child in one roomy bag. I can fit a small clutch for all my personal items, small make-up bag and card holder in one area and keep all of my child's snacks, bottles, diapers, and wipes in another. And it is roomy enough for a clipboard, or notebook or book for work! Another advantage is that it can also act as an overnight bag. We also have the smaller 'one child' version and between the two of them, my child and I can pack up for a weekend and be just fine with only the two bags. It has really been a life saver for the commute to day care and work in the big city!

The perfect non-diaper-bag diaper bag
This may be the best bag I've ever owned. I recently traveled by plane and found it was large enough to accommodate my 13" laptop, seven extra diapers + wipes (never know how long you're going to be stuck in the airport), two books (one for me, one for my husband), and various other items, all without making the bag bulky (though yes, it was heavy, as you can imagine). Yet, the bag is somehow compact enough that I can use it around town *without* all of those items, and it doesn't look like I'm carrying a giant empty bag around. Should your child decide he wants *you* to hold his beloved stuffed sheep, it'll fit easily inside. For any moms and dads out there returning to school, you can fit a textbook (two if they're slim), notebooks, folders, etc. inside and not worry that it looks like you're using a diaper bag. (FYI, when my laptop is inside, I find my bulky textbook too big to also fit, so I just carry it.)

Finally, the perfect diaper bag!
My husband will tell you I am a diaper bag slut - I have tried many and refused to commit to any ... until now. The Skip Hop Duo Deluxe Uptown is everything I have been looking for in a diaper bag. It is stylish AND convenient. I have an infant and a toddler, and there's room for both their stuff. The water bottle net on the side is perfect for mommy's drink but it can also adjust to fit a sippy cup, the mobile phone pocket is big enough for my smartphone, the changing pad is long enough for my toddler - I could go on and on. All the things that frustrated me in other bags are addressed with this one, and the fact that it snaps right onto the stroller made it perfect because my infant seat makes accessing the basket under the stroller impossible. So settle down for a long-term relationship with this diaper bag; this is THE BAG to own especially if you have two!!
Meh, Nothing special about this one.
Yep, it is a cute bag and has lots of pockets. The problem is, once you starting putting things in the pockets, it becomes difficult to reach inside the main compartment as the pockets bulge towards the interior of the bag and not out.

I have no idea how a previous poster managed to get a laptop, seven diapers and anything else in this bag. And books? No way.

I'll use this bag for quick trips around town but for day trips, forget about it. We will use the DaddyGear backpack I got for my husband - roomier, more convenient with an outside wipe dispenser, and still stylish.

There is no way I could fit 4 diapers, wipes, changing pad, lotion, a change of clothes, lunch containers, sippy cup and any kind of stuffed animal in this diaper bag without pulling everything out to get to the bottom of the bag.

Shoddy construction ruins otherwise nice bag
The fabric on bag looks a lot better in real life than it does on the screen - fabric is a perky spring green (not too bright or day-glo, though definitely not subdued) and has a sheen. Interior is a grey-ish white throughout so you don't have to deal with "black hole" syndrome. One large slip pocket & 2 mesh bottle pockets in main compartment, really nice simple changing pad compartment, mommy compartment big enough for wallet, keys, and accessory bags, and a smaller organizational department for things like iPods, cell phones, cameras etc.. Overall, the organization is just right, you aren't overwhelmed with random pockets everywhere but on the other hand you have a place for everything you might want to put in this bag. My one issue is sewing. When I got the bag there was a loose thread on the side and some of the seam had already snagged, after only 10 minutes of use. Not what I thought it would be
So this backpack isn't what I thought it would be at all! It's waaay small and the straps make the backpack ride up high on your back. My husband couldn't even wear it at all and that is the main reason I got it. It has different compartments which is nice but the size & design just don't make up for it. I wouldn't recommend it at all unless you are tiny in size. :)

HOLY GRAIL OF DIAPER BAGS
I'm no diaper bag newbie- I have a 3 and 2 year olds and i've been thru many high end diaper bags (petunia, storsak, other skip hops, ju ju be's...) so my review is a good one! this bag is SO amazing for the price. VERY similar to the storksak emily but less than half the price and a bit larger which when you have two kids is better! So much room for everything without looking silly when not as full for errands or a quick trip. Can be packed with tons of stuff for a longer day out too. Don't know why anyone mentions the fabric seeming cheap; it seems very nice and silky yet strong to me. Love the four outter pockets on front and a small zipped one for my iphone- great for my small bits and keys and sunglasses as well. This bag is SO stylish and practical, i just love it to pieces! The hobo shape is really high end looking and all the pockets keep me organized. The blue lining was a bit shocking at first now i think it looks vibrant and a nice contrast to all the black. Great bag!
I love this bag! I'm on baby #2 so I feel like I learned a lot from the first one. What I really love about this bag is that empty, it is a VERY light weight bag. I compared to other bags, some that were over a hundred dollars more than this one, and this was very light weight. I didn't want to lug around 20+ pounds of baby gear on one shoulder then a baby in the other arm. I love the gripped straps on the side that attach to a stroller! What a great idea! Also love the expandable feature, although I'm sure I'll never wear it closed up. First of all, I have a tendency to over pack for outings and second, I love the orange accent in the middle! My favorite part about this bag is that it is very classy looking. I wasn't about to lug around a "character" themed diaper bag on my shoulder. Great style, great design - poor workmanship
I got this about 2 weeks ago and it's great - plenty of room for your usual items - and then some.

However, after about 3 days of normal use, the stitching on the personal items zipper in front has started fraying - this means that the zipper has come off from the fabric lining and backing, exposing the batting , lining and guts. I have to stuff the zipper in - and find someone to stitch it up for me.

Inside, the pockets are poorly sewn, so that even before use, the pockets were starting to come apart from the lining and the two pockets merging into one.

It's such a stylish bag - i really want a replacement, but will have to see if the local agent will give me an exchange - or repair.

I'll be writing to skip hop to see what they can do about it, enclosing pictures.

Good design, but poor quality & customer service
I like the design and convenience of this diaper changing pad, but after 1 month, the seam on the front pocket began unraveling leaving a hole in the front pocket. I contacted Skip Hop for a replacement. Customer service did not reply for 1 month. They arranged for me to return the product before I could receive a replacement. It is now 3 months later and I still have not received a replacement after contacting them numerous times.

I also have a Skip Hop diaper bag which I've recently noticed has a defective buckle. It comes unlatched while I'm carrying it and the bag falls to the ground. Since their customer service is so poor, I've just switched to using another bag rather than to deal w/ another return.

Perfect for Daddy's Day Out With Daughter
This review is for the Skip-Hop Pronto and is from daddy's perspective. This was my bag of choice when taking my baby daughter to day trips to the museum, beach, friends, Grandma's, etc. I really liked the bag and used it for over a year as my daughter was still just wee. Below are the main points I can speak to from my experience:

Pros

* Size - This size was just perfect for day trips. It held a travel-size package of wipes, a few infant diapers (or a couple of bigger ones), and a couple of tubes of hand sanitizer, bottom balm, etc. I loved the fact that it all condensed down into a small sized satchel that could be tossed under the compact stroller or hung on the handle without taking up a lot of space or getting in the way. I always kept a larger, fully stocked diaper bag in the mother-ship (car) where room and space weren't as much an issue. I thought the size of this was perfect for on-the-go short adventures.

* Function - I really liked...
One of my top 3 baby items!
I bought the Skip Hop Changing Wallet before my daughter was born, based on the excellent reviews. I am not the type to need a giant diaper bag and a clunky travel system stroller just to leave the house. I would prefer to have exactly what I need and not carry all of that extra weight. This changing wallet is perfect! My daughter is now 6 months old, and I use this several times a day. It has not shown any signs of wear and is made of high quality materials. We can fit 4 (size 3) diapers, a travel pack of wipes, and some hand sanitizer. If needed, there's an extra pocket on the outside you could stick a change of clothes in, but it does get sort of bulky. For longer trips, we keep this in our diaper bag instead of the wimpy changing pad that it came with.

In case you're interested, my other favorite baby items are the Ergo baby carrier and the Hooter Hider nursing cover. I routinely leave the house to spend the whole day with my baby girl with nothing else.
